In an interview with NBC over the weekend, President Barack Obama’s advisor Valerie Jarrett said it was “highly unlikely” that she would run for office, but wouldn’t rule out the possibility.

“I want to talk to you about the future,” said the NBC’s Cynthia McFadden asked Jarrett. “Is Michelle Obama going to run for office?”

“No,” Jarrett responded.

“You said that very definitively,” McFadden noted.

“Well, I’m absolutely, 100 percent positive that that will never happen,” Jarrett said.

The reporter continued, “How about Valerie Jarrett? Will you ever run for office?”

“Unlikely,” Obama’s adviser said.

“But maybe?”

“Not as definitive as the first lady, but highly unlikely,” said Jarrett.

The rest of the interview was little more than straight up propaganda designed to portray the Obama White House in a favorable light.
