If Hillary Clinton runs for President in 2016, three-quarters of American voters believe she’ll get plenty of free PR from the mainstream media – even as the press trashes her Republican opponent.

That’s the finding from the latest Rasmussen survey, which sampled 1,000 likely voters over the weekend. A full 41 percent of those surveyed said they expect that the media will “try to help her,” compared with only 13 percent who said the media would try “to help her Republican opponent.”

Just over half – 51 percent – of those surveyed said they have a “somewhat favorable” view of Clinton, compared with 44 percent who said they hold an unfavorable view of her. Breaking it down further, 27 percent said they hold a “very favorable” view of Clinton, while 29 percent said they hold a “very unfavorable” view of the former Secretary of State.

Although Clinton remains coy about her intentions, 81 percent of respondents said they believe she will be the Democratic party’s nominee, if she does run. Among Democrats, that number was even higher – 91 percent.
